Despite its eventful history, A. & C. Kosik GmbH has been in business for 100 yearsand is now a high-performing, diversified family-owned company. We celebrated extensively with business partners and employees over two days: with coffee and cake, a delicious dinner, great bands, a tour of the company, and attractions for children, there was plenty to enjoy.Now we are looking ahead to the future and look forward to working together on “win-win partnerships.” We are ready to do so with motivation and anticipation.

On September 1, 2023, A. & C. Kosik GmbH welcomed five new apprentices. A new chapter in their lives, filled with many new challenges, is now beginning. To help the “new and old” apprentices get to know one another, they headed to the Regensburg Climbing Forest with their training supervisor, Florian Bayer. There, they had to work as a team to overcome a wide variety of challenges.We wish everyone a great start to their professional careers and much success!

Works council chairman Jürgen Hierl and managing director Alexander Kosik welcomed numerous employees to the company meeting. The focus was on honoring long-serving employees, which is always a special pleasure for Mr. Kosik: 40 years: Josef Donauer25 years: Josef Gaßner, Johannes Nerb, Claudia Pfaller, Stefan Vogl, Wolfgang Weitzer10 years:Michael Angerer, Christian Eberl, Thomas Frohberg, Yunus Emre Kalpaslan, Jonas Lechermann, Manfred Peter, Fabian Raith, Daniel Windecker In addition, three employees were bid farewell as they entered their well-deserved retirement:Josef Donauer, Werner Haselhahn, Wolfgang Schmid Mr. Kosik thanked everyone for their loyalty and dedication.

We are particularly proud of our apprentice Maximilian Reitinger, who was recognized as the top industrial mechanic. The Upper Palatinate/Kelheim Chamber of Industry and Commerce honored him for his outstanding achievements at a ceremony held at the Jahnstadion in Regensburg. We share in his joy over this award, which we are pleased to celebrate with a bonus of 500 euros. Congratulations, Maximilian! A. & C.Kosik GmbH also received a certificate for outstanding contributions to vocational training, which was accepted by our training manager, Florian Bayer.

Managing Director Alexander Kosik and Training Manager Florian Bayer welcomed seven new trainees.Every year, an outing is organized for all trainees at the start of the training program. This gives the young people a chance to get to know one another and interact.First, they visited Clariant Produkte GmbH in Moosburg, where A. & C. Kosik GmbH is also represented. After the factory tour, they continued on to downtown Landshut, which they were able to explore on their own.We wish everyone a great start to their professional careers and much success!

The staff of A. & C. Kosik GmbH gathered for a company meeting at the Gasthaus in der Heide in Saal an der Donau. Works council chairman Oliver Bergemann and managing director Alexander Kosik welcomed everyone in attendance and provided an overview of the year’s events, figures, and plans.Alexander Kosik then thanked three employees for their 10 years of service. The honorees were Daniel Schaad, Julia Huber, and Tobias Mühldorfer.Special thanks went to Günther Flotzinger, former head of sales, who was bid farewell as he entered his well-deserved retirement after more than 40 years with the company. Following a group lunch, the company meeting concluded in a relaxed atmosphere.

After a two-year hiatus, A. & C. Kosik GmbH finally held another company-wide meeting. Managing Director Alexander Kosik and Works Council Chair Jürgen Berger welcomed everyone in attendance. The focus was on the employees celebrating anniversaries, who were now officially honored, and those entering retirement. At the 2021 Safety and Quality Awards ceremony, Bayernoil Raffineriegesellschaft mbH recognized A. & C. Kosik GmbH for its outstanding safety and quality performance. Our employees once again did an excellent job throughout the year. This is the only way we can meet our own standards and those of our customers. We remain committed to continuing to meet these standards.

Finally, the time had come again: after a two-year hiatus, Girls’ Day took place. Six female students visited our company and gained insight into what are often considered typically male professions. Our training manager, Florian Bayer, explained the basic tasks of metalworking professions to them in our training workshop, where they were able to try their hand at practical exercises. In the technical office, Christian Dürr showed one student how 2D and 3D drawings are created and told her about the responsibilities of technical product designers. During the tour of our facility, the girls also learned a lot about the different areas of production.
